Francisco has worked with Diego Itermitely at different institutions and in various research projects. He is a parabiologist with experience in data collection across a wide variety of taxa, including raptors, psitacids, pecaries, jaguars, fish, crocodiles, and river otters.

Recently, Francisco has been focusing on helping develop sustainable extraction of renewable resources from the Mayan biosphere at the Arbol Verde forest concession.
